We love the tent beds on each end for the pets; they enjoy having their own “rooms.” It sleeps eight—the couch converts into a full-size bed, and the table folds down into a bed as well, which I usually keep set up as a daybed. We also bought a large folding table that can go outside as a picnic table or inside the camper as an extra dining surface. It was an excellent idea.

After setting her up over the summer, we’re finally ready. We took trips to some lake-area campgrounds, checking them out as possible places to keep the camper long-term—like having a lakeside camp we can visit anytime. We found a couple of nice spots.

So the only difference between the big trip and these weekend lake trips was needing more supplies for the three-week trip.
