you can make your own glass blocks or shapes or use mine doesn't even need to look glass like can be any image with your letter hearts and so on this is more about technique

Be sure to make a blank one as well with no letter in it

supplies pre made blocks

ok lets start open new transparent image size depends on how long your blinkie will be

choose your letters I usually zoom in more so I can see they are even as I cut them out and paste and line them up hooking them to one another in my new image.

ok you should now have something that looks like this

now find blanks I provided not the clear ones that is the teq I am showing you take the solid blank copy paste as new image

go over to where you see the eye at right there is a little arrow next to it Opacity move the arrow down so it says 50 now your block has some transparency to it now go back to your image edit copy now to file jask products open your animation shop edit paste as new animation

click on your name so you know it is selected

now click edit duplicate then edit duplicate again until you have enough copies as how many letters are in your name if you get extras you can click arrow then select one of the images and click delete repeat for all extras

ok go back to psp select your transparent blank you made edit copy then got to animation shop paste as new animation

now click arrow and select FI on your name animation now click transparent block edit copy now go back to your name and in F1 paste into it covering the first letter then repeat on F2 this time covering second letter F3 cover third letter and so on to see better that it is covering even you can make bigger by clicking view zoom in by 1 then view zoom in by 1 again

now save and you are done be sure looping is set if you need instruction you can see how at bottom of my glitter tutorial have fun

Fast Glitter

Fast Glitter with Filters Unlimited it may look long but once you

are used to it you will be glittering fast it took me 3 minutes

to complete this name animation

you will need I Used psp 9 and Animation shop

plug in -Filters unlimited and a fat font

Lets start New transparent image 400x350

click center of image with text tool pick a fat font I am using (Cairo SF) pick a bright background color you like

and white foreground and these settings

write your Name then make sure image is not selected as if you are done then click edit-copy merged and paste

as new image close your original image.

select your magic wand with these setting

select inside image the bright color

effects- 3d drop shadow -with these settings then click ok

now with inside of image still selected with marching ants go to effects again

filters unlimited 2.0- noise filters-Add noise (Monochromatic)

use settings that are set which is 61click apply

deselect (no more ants lol) then go to edit copy then edit paste as new image

it should be on a smaller pallet now fitting the image.

go back to your original image and click undo once will put ants back

around section we are working with then click undo again to get rid of the noise

(note this way is fast for me if you wish after you do the drop shadow you can duplicate your image 4 times)

now repeat your noise step again but this time instead of 61 use 68

and one again copy and paste as new image then do your undo and go back to noise step again

and instead of 61 this time change it to 76

paste as new image undo again go to noise step again and this time instead of 61 do 82

now you can finally close that bigger image with your name if you like :)

now you should have 4 images all the same size before we go on to animation select each image and ad drop shadow with same settings as earlier a

adding drop shadow to the entire image ok great time to animate if you look each Image has a number mine are image 4 image 5 image6 and image 7

yours could be different numbers not to worry it could be you have made other things so you have higher numbers than I do

select your highest number image mine is image 7 then go to edit copy then open your animation shop

(go to file Jasc software open your animation shop)

in animation shop click edit paste as new animation then go back to psp select your smallest number image mine is image 4

click edit copy then go to animation shop and edit paste after current frame then go back to psp select your second highest number image mine is

Image 6 click copy then go to animation shop click edit paste after current frame then do the same once again with your last image mine is Image 5

and your done click view then view animation you may want to check your settings

here are some hints right click on image and click animation properties you can make sure it is set to loop continuously here

if you right click you also see frame property you can make each frame go at certain speed with this option

ok now lets save and you are done.

Tutorial Easy Silk look Ribbon Flowers PSP

Easy Silk look Ribbon Flowers

You will need PSP I use version 9

and filters unlimited

New image switch to inches 4 inch by 4 inch res300.00 transparent

go to your preset shapes flower with settings below

forground off background of choice

color does not matter I just did pink because it was set that already

start at left corner and draw down to opposite lower corner you just want your flower centered

select your flower so marching ant are around flower edges I quickly do this by edit cut and then control E

it just works fast for me LOL

now your flower has ants around it go to effects filters unlimited

pattern generators and then Magic flower

default setting are ok but to change the color work with the hue we can also make more colors later

apply and done this step you have a pretty silk flower now to ad a button like in example

New layer now in shapes use eclipse choose background color from your flower draw your circle in center of flower

you can adjust size and center with nodes that are already around it leave with nodes around your circle or if there are none just click edit cut and control E and center it leave selected with nodes or ants go to effects 3D effects cut out with these settings

pick a light color from your flower for

fill and dark color from your flower for shadow

now click effects 3 D and then drop shadow these settings below

and your done you can add additional drop shadow to entire flower now if you like and you can play around with any of the settings i provided for a little different look as you can see in above examples the smaller ones i used a bit of a different setting on the cut out of the button those where made a long time ago but you can see what a different setting can do you can also now use adjust then hue to adjust to different colors as well

ok now click file export and choose png if you want to use for scrap booking you can also choose tube and save into your psp tubes

Tutorial Shimmer objects

would you like to know how to make these well ok here is another one of my quick tuts shimmer 101 lol

as you can see from my pack you can add shimmer to anything pretty much.

so you really don't need filters

ok first make image or have an image you want to shimmer open

must be a plain un textured area like the blank middle of a metal heart or maybe a solid colored sticker of a flower.

click blank middle of heart layers new raster layer then choose solid color for background that you wish for shimmer

select a light gradient not a multi colored although that would be your choice the light single colors do better.

( you can also make a gradient by putting a solid color foreground and a lighter of same color or white in back ground, then go to gradient in foreground and find gradient called foreground)

you can angle gradient anyway you wish I use it with no angle or at 90 degree angle.

repeats 0 fill your image with gradient.

now lets add some noise for that shimmer effect with image still selected you can ither use a filter or you can go to your adjust ad remove noise then ad noise use 50 or lower uniform selected! Or you can use a filter I use filters unlimited 2 -noise and fool with settings until I find something I like this is not a science do to image size image area and so on..

but you will get a good result and with practice a great result so now your area has noise.

for heart I want a clear effect so I make sure the shimmer layer is selected and lower opacity to oh about 50 percent and done merge layers and save as png

for sticker you want a new layer over solid area select solid section then click layers new raster layer fill with gradient complete the same way

as above

glassy and plastic I select pre made item add new layer and do the same

you can also make a texture and save, like great ones are stain glass then add your noise and flood fill objects i use in my blend mose some times instead of normal color shimmering is alot of fun to play with try different settings and different stuff that suits you i also added a bit of very light noise to the heart frame made it shine a bit

Tutorial Loading Brushes/ Photoshop

How to load Brushes

Basic loading -open brushes then you will see a tiny arrow click you will get a list simply click load brushes

Now when you make a brush
once your brush is made go to edit tab click Define Brush Preset
in pop up, give your brush a name and hit OK.

to save edit tab then preset manger click arrow beside preset type
find brush in list find brush you made click then save set.
name it hit ok save to your computer to do a few at once just hold shift as you clcik each one.

How to load actions and remove

open your actions then click little arrow it opens a list select load actions whats nice is you can
select that action when through and click unload

what is an action well someone made something and as they where making it recorded it making it easy to do again by clicking play the action does the steps for you you can make your own as well just look up how on the net if i have time i will try and write a tut for it here are some fun actions to try
